More good news from Lorrainville! Today, June 1st 2012, the official live album will be released! It’s called One December Evening and was recorded during the release party at Hedon, Zwolle on December 15 2011. I’m very proud that the beautifully performed version of my song I Wish I Was I Was A Carpenter is featured on the album!
It’s a digital release, but will be also available as a limited edition CD.

This is a live registration of the song Tommy wrote for of the Lorrainville project. It was recorded during the one and only album release show in Hedon, Zwolle.
Beautifully sung and played by Casper Adrien, Anneke van Giersbergen, Angelo de Rijke, Bertolf, Erik Neimeijer, Gertjan van der Weerd, Peter Slager en Otto de Jong. -
Last Sunday we we’re invited to play my Lorrainville song I Wish I Was A Carpenter live at Radio 2 Hemelbestormers. Here’s a little video Guido shot of Casper and me. Maarten is there as well, but you can’t see him.
Probably a coincidence, but later that day Lorrainville hit the number one spot in the Dutch iTunes Rock Chart! Cool, huh!

Here’s the song I wrote for the wonderful Lorrainville project. Vocals are by Casper Adrien and Anneke van Giersbergen. Otto de Jong is on drums and Peter Slager on bass. Glockenspiel by Marianne Oldenburg and soundscape by Pim van de Werken. The beautiful pedal steel part is by Elio Martina. Enjoy!
I also strongly advise to listen to the entire album! Or/and buy it at your local record store.

Lorrainville is not only the name of a small town in Canada, it is also the name of a musical project that will result in a beautiful album. I am lucky to be a part of it (I wrote a song for it) and I thought I’d give you guys a little personal update on the Lorrainville-project untill so far…
