On the 3rd of February, we payed a visit to Miranda van Holland at Radio 2.
Thomas and Kai couldn’t make it because of the snow. But it were good times nonetheless!

We did a couple of shows at the Eurosonic festival in Groningen. What a great time we had..
Luckily our buddy Tom Roelofs was there with us and shot some great pictures! Check out the whole set!

When my buddy Niels Bourgonje and me were shooting the video for Raynie, My Son, I started singing Thunder Road, just for fun. It’s one of my all time favourites and I wanted to hear what it sounded like with that enourmous reverb. Niels, being a huge Springsteen fan like me, insisted that we recorded this one as well. I wasn’t fully prepared, so a big part of the song is missing and I kinda messed up the lyrics towards the end. But hey, cut a guy some slack, will ya.. ; – )

TV-persoonlijkheid Jan Kooijman twittert regelmatig over #goeiemorgenmuziek. In januari brengt hij in samenwerking met EMI een verzamel-CD uit met een selectie hier van.
We zijn blij en vereerd dat Brother Devil ook in de  track list is opgenomen!

It was shot the halls of the Oude Ambachts School in Zwolle, a apartment building that used to be a school. It’s reverb is huge, as you will hear..

Tuesday, the 6th of December, we payed a visit to DJ Bert van Lent at 3Fm. We did four songs between 04.00 and 06.00 AM. So we were all a bit pale-faced and weary-eyed, but it was a lot of fun! W

Last Sunday we we’re invited to play my Lorrainville song I Wish I Was A Carpenter live at Radio 2 Hemelbestormers. Here’s a little video Guido shot of Casper and me. Maarten is there as well, but you can’t see him. 

Probably a coincidence, but later that day Lorrainville hit the number one spot in the Dutch iTunes Rock Chart! Cool, huh!

Here’s the song I wrote for the wonderful Lorrainville project. Vocals are by Casper Adrien and Anneke van Giersbergen. Otto de Jong is on drums and Peter Slager on bass. Glockenspiel by Marianne Oldenburg and soundscape by Pim van de Werken. The beautiful pedal steel part is by Elio Martina. Enjoy!
